Isaiah's prophecy in chapter 40 describes the coming Kingdom of God. This should bring hope to God's people, as God will rule with justice, righteousness and love. Our job is to prepare a way for this kingdom in our own hearts and lives.
As you read the following scripture, take a few moments to meditate on the word of God, then respond to the following questions:
- What has God revealed to you about His kingdom?
- What has God revealed to you about the King?
- What has God revealed to you about being a citizen of the new kingdom?
- Now, ask the Holy Spirit to provide you opportunities to live into God's kingdom today!
