Upsidedown Kingdom - Lessons from the Sermon on the MountSample
Psalm 102 is a psalm of lament, the honest prayer of someone who is overwhelmed by trouble. It is amazing that the everlasting God of the universe invites us to pour our hearts out to Him...even when we are angry and stressed out. Like the psalmist, we can find comfort in the fact that we serve an everlasting king. So take heart, the troubles we face today will soon be a distant memory.
As you read the following scripture, take a few moments to meditate on the word of God, then respond to the following questions:
- What has God revealed to you about His kingdom?
- What has God revealed to you about the King?
- What has God revealed to you about being a citizen of the new kingdom?
- Now, ask the Holy Spirit to provide you opportunities to live into God's kingdom today!

About this Plan
In the world that we live in, things are not as they should be. One might even say they are upside down. However, the good news is that Jesus came to turn this world right side up. What if our eyes were opened to the REALITY that the kingdom of heaven is in fact here?
