God, I Need You 

Having come before the Lord with praise and confessing your sins, your heart is now ready to bring your needs and requests to Him. God’s mercy and favor is yours today because you belong to Christ. Be confident in asking God to meet your needs. 

He wants to hear your needs! God knows what you need before you ask, but He wants you to make your request in faith. Live in the moment—today. God has promised to meet your needs daily, not weekly or annually. He’ll give you what you need when you need it! 

God also wants to satisfy your wants and desires! God promises to provide, both physically and spiritually, for us. As you live in close relationship with Christ, the desires conceived within you are desires He can fulfill! Always ask with a spirit of yielding to His will and His purposes—they are the best thing for you! 

To fulfill your God-given assignment in life, you will need God’s favor. God can give you favor, even in the most unusual places and people. God is writing your story. Keep your mind open, and stay sensitive to how He’s leading you. Usually, God reveals His plan one step at a time. Look for His signs, listen to the Holy Spirit, prayerfully evaluate everything, cultivate an instant response to God, reject all feedback that breeds doubt, and expectantly ask God for wisdom.

Don’t try to dictate to God how He needs to answer your prayers. Simply pray for what you need, expect it, and accept it with thanks in whatever form He sends it to you.
