Daily Bible Reading — Sustained by God’s Word of PromiseSample
July 13
Introduction
Today’s reading is often referred to as Samuel’s farewell address. He begins by seeking acknowledgment from the people for his leadership and then recounts God’s mighty deeds and all the times God rescued them from their enemies. He reminds them to obey and serve the LORD.
Today’s Scripture: 1 Samuel 12:24 (GNT)
Obey the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart. Remember the great things He has done for you.
