DAY FOUR: Find and Maintain Balance
Maintaining balance keeps you from being so depleted that you are too tired to fight off demonic attacks. The following are some methods for achieving balance in your life.
Schedule downtime. Build time for rest, relaxing activities, and other things necessary for self-care. As little as fifteen minutes of relaxation during the course of the day can help recharge your batteries.
Remove distractions and unnecessary activities. This includes removing people who tend to distract you in addition to unnecessary activities that distract you from established goals.
Set aside quality time for family and friends. Relationships matter. Setting aside quality time without outside distractions helps to foster and produce healthy relationships.
Remember to enjoy life and have fun. Take time to explore the world and expand your awareness. Do something interesting; take a class in something that interests you; learn a new language. Learn how to treat yourself and enjoy your life.
There is no way your home can be healthy if you are spending the entire week away from it. You need balance in your life because without it you give space for dysfunction to enter your life. Balance is a key component for a successful life.
