The Lord Is Faithful. Sample
He Shall Keep You From Evil.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Keep” is, ‘phylassō’ (G5442) which means, “To guard to watch, keep watch and protect.” When God establishes you, He will keep you from evil.
Malachi 3:11 KJV states, “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.” God will rebuke the devourer.
God will protect you from the one who comes to kill, steal and to destroy your harvest. Have faith in God. Know that He wants to establish you and not destroy you.
When you are in Christ you are His child and He wants to keep you and protect you.
Allow God to lead you and He will make you stable and surefooted. 2 Samuel 22:34 KJV states, “He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.” The hind part of an animal, or its back legs, is what stabilizes the stance of an animal. Hinds’ feet, or an animal’s back legs, is what strengthens and balances the animal. Let God establish and stabilize you. Establish and stabilize your heart on His Word. Let the Word take deep root. Let His Word build the infrastructure of your character. Let His Word shape the very fabric and foundation of your heart and house.
Matthew 7:24-27 KJV states, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
