Christ Came to Set You Free. 

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah‬ ‭61:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ 

Christ came to break bondages. Christ came to set you free. The enemy wants to keep you bound. He wants to keep you bound to your past. When you are in Christ your past has no power over your future. When you are in Christ, whatever has kept you captive has no authority over you. 

When you surrender to Christ, He will pull you out of the bondage of the past and break you free from the chains of sin. What sin has kept your enslaved to your past? Satan wants to keep you focused on your past. Christ wants you to focus on your future in Him. 

It is your choice. You can stay stagnant by focusing on the past or you can propel forward in Christ. “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬. True freedom is in Christ. 

There is no void that He cannot fill. When you surrender to Christ, He will transform your heart and set you free from any and every yoke of bondage. ‬‬Don’t focus on your past — focus on His Word. His Word will transform your generational bloodline forever.  “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John‬ ‭8:36‬ ‭KJV.
