There is nothing you can do apart from God. We don’t trust Him at His word when he says, "I’ll never leave you nor forsake you", but it’s the truth.
Every perceived mess up, failure and flub, He’s been there for whether you acknowledge His presence or not. I know that for myself, I never want to look up when I’ve fallen. I cast my eyes downward as if ashamed to look up and see the disappointment in my Father’s eyes.
Well, let me tell you this beloved. He has a masculine pronoun, but He’s not a man that He should lie. We try to make God human and give Him a personality. But He is what He is. He’s not angry at you. He’s not disappointed in you. He’s not mad at you. He’s in love with you and He’s in the fight alongside you. Look up, take His hand, keep going. God loves you.
About this Plan
Shame, guilt and regret have no place in the body of Christ. We serve a God that will use all that we are for His glory. No matter what we’ve done or how “bad” we think we have been, He can always use it for His glory. We are RARE!
