It’s mind-blowing how God can redeem bad things for good. We see this truth at the core of Jesus’ life and death. God took the brutality and evil of Jesus’ death on the cross and turned it into forgiveness for us.
His redeeming ways work for us too. God never wastes a hurt. Our brokenness is never in vain. He is constantly working through the worst to bring about His best.
How might God use your past pain to bring comfort to someone else who is hurting? Ask God to reveal someone who you can uniquely bring comfort to because of a past pain. Invite God in to redeem the bad for a good purpose.

Jesus said that the pathway to being happy and free is found at the end of me. It’s one of those upside-down teachings that is completely opposite of how we think success and happiness work. So, if you want more than a few fleeting moments of happiness, this reading plan is especially for you.
