This Is How We Build A Nation

DAY 9 OF 10

Revival is in the AIR!

The harvest is God’s domain. He is the harvester and He says in His Word that people are ready and hungry to hear about Him, there just aren’t enough people to tell them. It is our responsibility to do the work preparing the ‘ground’.

My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.” John 4:34-36 (NIV)

God is not looking for our ability but more our availability and heart. If we seek Him with all our heart, pray, be aware of the Holy Spirit and open to be used – it is amazing what God can achieve in and through us.

Let this quote by the British preacher Charles H. Spurgeon inspire you to action today, 'Lost! Lost! Lost! Better a whole world on fire than a soul lost! Better every star quenched and the skies a wreck than a single soul to be lost!'

Every week in churches across the nation, many people are making a decision for Christ. Let’s all resist the temptation to ‘go through the motions’ or become familiar with the miracle of people making a decision for Christ. Press in. Pray. Petition God for people to respond. And let us praise Him for the harvest we see now and the harvest we are yet to see!
