Follow Not That Which Is EvilSample
Follow Not That Which Is Evil.
“Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.” 3 John 1:11 KJV
Pattern yourself after God’s Word. Follow after His example and let God lead your heart. Choose to digest His Word daily. Follow His principles and precepts. Let your life shine after His Character. Follow God’s Blueprint in every area of your life.
When you choose to pattern your life after God’s Word, you’ll get His results. When you pattern your career after His Word, you’ll get His results. Choose to pattern your way after His Word. Pray, seek God, and let God lead your path. Let your life mirror His Word in every area of your life. John 1:11 AMPC declares, “Beloved, do not imitate evil, but imitate good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen (discerned or experienced) God [has enjoyed no vision of Him and does not know Him at all].”
Choose to surround yourself with wise counselors. Choose to let God’s Word sharpen your heart. Let His Word shape and pattern your relationships. Choose to pattern yourself after Godly mentors who are seasoned and full of character. Let God lead you to who He wants you to follow. Focus on God. Let God direct your heart.
Let His Word build the infrastructure of your character. “Dear friend, don’t let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God’s children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God.” 3 John 1:11 NLT
