Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Shifting to Judah, Amaziah becomes king. God is pleased with his reign and gives him victory over the Edomites. Then he becomes proud and challenges his relatives in Israel to war and is defeated. Some people struggle to trust God when things are going badly. Others, like Amaziah struggle in success. We need to trust God in all circumstances.

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
