Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Hezekiah is the recipient of a personal miracle, but also makes a major mistake. It must have been pride on his part to show off all his stuff. His response seems strange in that he is happy to hear that it is his descendants who will be defeated.
Elijah responded to a major victory with fear; Hezekiah responds with pride. How do we respond when God gives us victory? Ideally, it would be with humility and thankfulness.

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
