Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Ezra discovers that although they have rebuilt the Temple and are worshipping God in a public way, they are not following God with their lives. Ezra knows this is a serious problem and goes into mourning. It’s not uncommon today for people to look like they are worshipping God, but live lives that are very different. Going to church and raising your hands while still living in disobedience to God is not worship. God wants our everything!

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
