The vision expands into John seeing an angel shouting and seven thunders speaking, two witnesses testifying, Jesus claiming His kingdom and then fighting Satan, and angels proclaiming a time of judgment and harvesting of the earth.
Note Revelation 11:16–19: The seventh trumpet heralds all that follows down to the end of chapter 19. Verse 18 summarizes the judgments still to come.
