The Domino EffectSample
Doesn’t it feel like you have to plan out when and how you live on mission? Sometimes we overcomplicate things, over plan, or just think all the stars have to line up perfectly to do what God has called us to do. Peter decides to take a trip down to the river, for a mini-escape. He wanted to withdraw from the people and get alone with God. But then there were people. A bunch of women were by the river, talking, cleaning clothes, and Peter decides to engage with them, to continue his domino effect. As he begins to talk about Jesus, one of the women, Lydia, receives the message of Jesus’ love, accepts him as her Savior, tells her family, and then she and her family get baptized together. Acts 16:11 says, “When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home.”
How did this all happen? Was it a planned outreach event, or something Peter put on his schedule? No! He just lived with the eternal perspective, “wherever I go, whatever I do, whoever I meet, I am going to play dominos.”

About this Plan
You’ve heard of the domino effect, right? The term is used to describe when one event sets off a chain reaction of other events.. Is your life, your choices and your commitments creating a domino line? Our mission and call as believers in Jesus is to continue to build our domino line so generation after generation will be able to proclaim the name of Jesus.
