 For We Walk By Faith

DAY 3 OF 3

Run Your Race.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Run the race that is before you. Walk by faith. Execute with diligence. Run with patience. Execute consistently. Pick up that dream again. Build that business again. Pick up that God-given vision and do it again. Begin to write again. Choose to lead again. You are not a failure. Surrender to God and serve again. God has called you to lead and transform a generation. Lead them through your faith. Lead them through your obedience. Let your forward momentum minister to those around you.

Exercise your faith and do “it” again. It’s not over. It’s not delayed. Obedience unlocks breakthrough. Obedience unlocks miracles. Faith releases Favor. Open your mouth. Surrender your heart to God and do “it” again. Ask God for the faith to ask again. Ask God for the faith to do “it” again. Your race is not over. “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” James‬ ‭4:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Maybe God was pruning your heart. Maybe God was maturing your hands. Maybe God was preparing you. Maybe God was preparing “it”. Choose to run your God-given race and surrender to God. God has established a path before you. Choose to lay down your excuses and walk!

Hebrews‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us,” Throw aside every unnecessary weight. Detangle yourself from the yoke of sin. Remove procrastination from your work ethic. Remove every excuse that has caused you to stumble.

Surround yourself with God-sent mentors. Surround yourself with those who have gone before you. They may not look like you. They may not have your background. They may be younger. Surrender your heart to God and allow Him to build the vision that He has given you. Let God send you the team. Let God build the team. Build the team by faith. Build how God tells you to build it. Let God lead your path. Surrender your heart to God and roll your works upon Him. “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.

Before you can run, it starts with taking the first step. Babies waddle when they first learn how to walk. Take the first step and let God strengthen your next step. Let God build your faith. Ask God to increase your faith and diligently execute. Diligence builds muscle. Stay consistent. Despise not small beginnings. Choose to take the first step. Then Walk. Run. Soar. “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.]” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
