In Search of WisdomSample

DAY 2) Wisdom offers ... Part 1
Our inherited pride and arrogance pull us toward a life of self-sufficiency. We know it. We can do it. On the other hand, the great LIAR has convinced some of us that we know nothing and can’t do anything. Both sides of this coin are a lie! Wisdom offers a superior legacy for living.
Also, in Proverbs 8 (Life Application Bible) it states that wisdom offers understanding when we don’t understand. Common sense when we have none. Truth when living amidst deception. Wholesome and good advice in a crooked and twisted world. Why in the world are we not seeking these treasures all day every day? Let us purpose to be wiser than we could possibly be on our own.
Question to ponder:
How could you operate in less of a prideful self-sufficiency and more of wisdom offered by greater understanding?
Prayer:
Oh Lord I cast down my pride and beg for Your ways of wisdom. Help me lean not on my own understanding of things but acknowledge You.
