Zechariah and his wife were very old when God sent an angel to tell him that his wife would have a baby—a very special baby who would prepare the way for Jesus! With God all things are possible! However, Zechariah didn’t believe that God could do such a miracle in his life. What happened to Zechariah because of his unbelief?
Activity: Write several words on slips of paper (animals, sports, or stories your children love work well). Have your child choose a slip of paper and act out what is written for others to guess. Is it more difficult to communicate when you cannot speak? How do you think Zechariah felt?
