Father, I wonder if everyone can see my face glistening with glory. Or if they get tired of hearing over and over again how much you’ve blessed me. If I’m boasting, it’s only because of what you’ve done; it’s only to make you famous. It’s impossible for me to stay quiet! I want to tell everyone how kind you are so they may experience it for themselves.
Lord, I ask that those who hear me would listen. Really listen. I want them to know that when we join our lives to yours, joy comes. I want them to give you thanks for the beauty that fills each day. To know that when they turn and hide themselves in you, you’ll never turn them away. Even the angels stoop down to hear their prayers.
When I drink freely of your pleasure and indulge in your goodness, I think of those who haven’t yet experienced your joyous mercy. I want to shout, “Come to the One who passionately pursues you and worship him in awe and wonder! Discover the joy of life with him!”
