The Lord Is Not Slack Concerning His PromiseSample

My Word Will Not Return Void.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭KJV

God’s Word will not return unto Him Void. It will accomplish that which He pleases. God will not slack concerning His Promises. When God speaks, His Word is alive, active and operative. “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” His Word produces. His Word has Power. In fact, His Word is Power. The Word that God speaks is life itself. John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Choose to trust His Word. His Word is Truth. His Word is Life. His Word has Purpose. His Word is the very essence and fabric of life itself. Your heart is searching for something that cannot be fulfilled by Earthly treasures and temporal lusts. Crucify your flesh and trust God. Crush your selfish desires by selflessly surrendering to God. Let His Word lead you. Let His Word guide you. Let His Word reshape the borders of your heart. Try God — He will not let His Word return unto Him void. Actively crucify your flesh daily. Choose to surrender to Christ. 

Action:

Pick a time throughout the day and pray. Ask God to reveal your heart. Let God expose the innermost components of your heart. Let His Light shine on every aspect of your life. 

When you lay before Him and surrender to Him — watch God heal areas that you didn’t even know needed to be healed.
