Six Characteristics Of A Strong FamilySample

We come to the end of our series with the final characteristics of a strong family:
Strong Families have a Shared Spiritual Life.
In a strong family, the spiritual disciplines are central. Such families experience faith, both, individually and as a unit. The family understands the importance of the spiritual well-being of each family member, and this understanding in manifested in love, compassion, accountability, and celebration.
Have you spent time in the spiritual disciplines lately (ie. reading your Bible together, praying together, singing worship songs together)? Our faith should be a priority in our own lives, and in that, our prayer is that it becomes a priority in our family’s lives as well!
Take some time to re-read the characteristics of strong families and consider which one spoke to you the most? Where is God calling you to help make your family strong?

About this Plan

Despite their geographical and cultural differences, the families in the survey shared six distinct characteristics. In this six-day study, find out what they are, how you can begin applying them in your family, and how each characteristic fits into God’s grand design.
