7 Benefits Of Being A Kingdom Steward

DAY 4 OF 6

The fourth benefit to being a kingdom steward is receiving a purpose-filled life instead of an empty one. Your life is not equal to your stuff. A man’s life does not consist of the abundance of his possessions. He can have more stuff and have less life. He can have a bigger house but doesn’t want to live there with his mate. He can get a new car but remains unhappy with where he wants to go. Life has to do with a purpose and a reason for living. It has to do with that which is valuable. It is when the spiritual takes precedent over the material.

The moment abundance becomes your goal, life begins to ebb from you because a person’s life does not consist of stuff. If you think you are an owner of something, let me use this moment to call you into the reality of eternity. I’ve never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul. Whatever you have acquired on earth, you can’t take it with you. A lot of us are waiting for a retirement that we may never see. If you’re waiting to get to 65 and for your social security income to kick in, and then start living, what happens if you leave this earth at 64? Start living your life now by pursuing that purpose that the Owner has given to you. With a kingdom perspective, you can enjoy purpose-filled living instead of pursuing pointless possessions.

About this Plan

7 Benefits Of Being A Kingdom Steward

God seeks stewards in His kingdom. Everything created belongs to Him. He desires us to utilize the gifts He has given us to build His kingdom. However, many of us want to do things our way, trying to take possession of these gifts as though they were our own. But it might help to know of the benefits of letting go, allowing God to use you as a kingdom steward.
