21 Days of CelebrationSample

Day 15
“Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 TPT
Question:
What does a life that ‘always gives thanks for everything’ look like to you?
Application:
It is quite difficult to always be thankful, especially in the midst of everything since not everything feels or seems to be worthy of celebration. Paul’s encouragement is not “fake it till you make it”, but instead draw from a principle of receiving a reference that is more powerful than disappointment or challenge, oppression or opposition.
Can you take a few moments to consider this encouragement to look beyond the pain and instead see the desire of God’s perfect plan for you so that in the midst of everything you will give thanks.
Prayer:
Father, I thank you! Father, I thank you!

About this Plan

Take the adventure through God's word and see transformation in your life as you exercise the muscles of celebration. Much is made about the need for a reason to celebrate. To truly understand the Good News is to focus away from striving for personal accomplishment and instead, walking with the Father God, receiving all that has been accomplished through Jesus on our behalf, empowering us for a life of celebration.
