This book is another letter sent by Paul. This letter is an encouragement to Timothy and final words from Paul. He is encouraged to remember the words Paul had previously shared with him. Paul speaks about hardship and trials and how to endure for the sake of Christ. Some of the reminders Timothy received were to not be ashamed of the Gospel or those persecuted because of the Gospel, to pursue godliness and avoid those things that do not honor God.
