River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Moses tells Israel that when they obey God’s commands, He will bring them blessing. He tells them to commit themselves to the commands that God has given them as they enter a new land. Moses seems to be aware the Israel is prone to adopting the practices of their neighboring nations, so he gives them guidelines for worship as they go into new lands. He commands them to worship in ways that are uniquely different than the ways in which these surrounding nations worship.
