Pray For the World: Sub-Saharan AfricaSample

HIV/AIDS, clean water, orphans, malaria, and Ebola are devastating Sub-Saharan Africa. These issues are often associated with Africa, and Africa is often associated with these issues, which often leaves Africans with a sense of hopelessness. However, while grave and severe, these issues are a means for Christians to share the gospel. Through humanitarian projects like clean water wells, orphan care programs, and job creation, Christians can meet physical needs. These projects provide opportunities to demonstrate and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for Christians to effectively obey the Great Commission as they show great compassion to Africans who feel hopeless. Pray that they will not only seek to meet physical needs, but spiritual needs as well.

About this Plan

In Sub-Saharan Africa there is a growing Christian population. But in the sprawling cities, barren deserts, rain forests, and tropical islands nearly sixteen thousand people groups live with little access to the gospel. Partner with us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. In this reading plan, learn more about the people of Sub-Saharan Africa, who are loved by God, and pray Scripture over them.
