Redeeming PleasureSample

"What Would You Trade?"
Have you ever found something so valuable that you’d trade all you have to get it? Me neither. But that’s the profound way Jesus talked about the kingdom of God. Were we to truly understand what God offers us we’d gladly exchange everything else we have to get it.
If that’s not how we feel, or if that sounds like we’d be losing out, it serves as a great reminder to us that we aren’t experiencing the fullness of the kingdom life Jesus calls us to live. This kingdom is a treasure and a fine pearl. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before! Do you desire to give up everything else for it? Not just to give it up, but to give it up joyfully? That’s how great this kingdom truly is!

About this Plan

This plan helps to rethink the Biblical view of pleasure and shows how our pursuit of pleasure mirrors our pursuit of God. By revisiting the goodness of God in Scripture, we also see one of His greatest parts of creation emerge anew. This is the “life to the full” Jesus told us about.
