Learning To Trust God In EverythingSample
When Trusting God Is Painful
For You
Noah’s deliverance was not without pain: Physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual pain. He hurt from work, he hurt from loss, he hurt from fear. Noah was in the middle of a miracle of God and he was hurting. God’s deliverance isn’t without pain. Jesus suffered it and He promised we would as well. When this happens, it is easy to doubt God. After all, if God is in it, it should go well, right? Well, Noah did everything just as God told him, and he still had some dark times. Many times we must go through hardship and pain to see the promise God has for us. Are you enduring something right now? Trust God through it and find peace.
For Your Child
Ask this Question: Do you think trusting God means everything will be easy?
That’s not always the case. Sometimes trusting God can be hard. It can be painful. It can be lonely. That does not mean you are missing God. When following God gets painful, pray and ask God for the peace to follow Him no matter what.
