Book of Psalms Sample

EXCELLENT
A building is said to be earthquake resistant after it has passed all earthquake tests. The same thing applies to school students who need to pass the exam before going to the next level.
Christians are also tested. Many Christians have a desire to be excellent Christians, however in the midst of their journey, they are shaken, broken and even destroyed.
When the Israelites went out of Egypt, they had to go through levels of testing. The most difficult test was when they entered the desert. The desert test also happens to the children of God. What is our attitude when we face the test or the storm of life? Many Israelites in the desert grumbled; they were angry and even rebelled against the Lord by making idols.
Consider a coconut tree. Even though it is a tall and skinny tree with few leaves, when the storm comes, it just shakes its branches. It is not broken. Why? Because of its strong roots that support the tree.
We are not called as excellent Christians when we are blessed abundantly, but when we have the strength to go through the storms of life. What makes us strong? It is our roots in Christ. We are deeply rooted in Christ when we look to Him as our strength.
Let all of us be made perfect, to be more and more like Jesus Christ everyday. Be strong in Him.
