It’s easy to look at today's and focus only on the first part, but we’d be missing so much if we didn’t look at the second half of the verse, too. The second half calls us to set an example for others in the words we say, the way we live, how we show our love, and even the way we live out our faith. We have the responsibility to use what influence we have to set a good example for the people around us. Think about the kind of example you want to set for others. Do you want to be patient, a faithful friend, and have a kind heart? This week, take one step to set that example for others.
