STAY FIT: Strengthening Your Connection To JesusSample

Have you ever done something to get someone else to notice you? We all have. We’ve raised our hands in class. We’ve done something “special” to get that girl or guy to notice us. Isn’t that why we use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Periscope, etc.? We want people to notice us.
Is it surprising that God is trying to get you to notice him?
Throughout history and throughout your story, God has been trying to get your attention. Why? Because he wants something for you. He wants you to have a relationship with him. Ultimately, God wants you to love him and trust him every moment of every day.
What are some ways God has gotten your attention?
What are some ways God has tried to get you to notice him, but you have ignored him?
As this most-important relationship grows, God wants you to follow him. He wants to use you in people’s lives and do things through you—things you could not do on your own. But in order for you to experience this, you have to stay close to him. God is never far from you. In order to feel close to him, you have to continually grow your relationship with him.
What will you do today to stay close to God?

About this Plan

You can’t lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ if you aren’t growing yourself. When we stay connected to Jesus, we invite God to work in us and through us. Join the staff of North Point Ministries for the next 30 days as we prioritize staying spiritually fit by focusing on the most important relationship in our lives.
