FEAR IN THE TIME OF CORONAVIRUSSample

GOD IS YOUR REFUGE
Can you recall running into the arms of safety when you were a child in fear of something or someone? Perhaps your safe person was your mother or father, your sister or brother, relative, teacher, or your friend. How comforted did you feel as you were enveloped in a big, secure, and safe hug?
God said that we would face difficulties in our lives, but He also said that He would be our refuge and our strength. He is our shield, our ever-present help in times of trouble. His arms are wide open and ready to take you into His care. Cast your worries and fears to Him. There is no situation you will ever face that is out of God’s control.
Therefore, you need not fear. Your Heavenly Father, who loves you beyond measure, is with you. Remember how Jesus calmed the storm when the disciples were in the boat, terrified? God was their refuge. Remember when the Israelites fought armies much more powerful than theirs, and won, as they marched to the Promised Land? God was their refuge. God is your refuge too!
