2. P – Pray for Guidance and Discernment

With an eye on the prize of living a fruitful and fulfilled life in the Lord, let’s turn our attention to unpacking the P.L.A.N. acronym. First, “P” is an encouragement to pray for guidance and discernment.
Whether or not we realize it, sometimes we turn to prayer only as a last resort. “Prayer? Has it come to that?”
Yes, in prayer we gain God’s wisdom. Early church leader James put it this way, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” (James 1:5).
As you prayerfully consider the following verses, ask God for divine direction.
About this Plan
Jesus came that we might have "life to the full," and He warned that an enemy aims to rob us of it (John 10:10). Thus, from our experience, we must be intentional in this pursuit of abundant life. This assessment will help you to do just that by developing a personal P.L.A.N., an acronym we use to help you be fruitful and fulfilled in life and ministry. Enjoy the journey!
