The Whole Story: A Life in God's Kingdom, Part FourSample

Family Devotional:
The Bible defines sex as one of the most important intimate acts of a married couple. Through sex, the human race expands, and marital relations flourish. This is why Leviticus 15 is so specific on the laws surrounding sexual intercourse. Not only should sex be viewed as sacred, but it should also be used wisely as it can easily create bad situations if done out of order. Thus, in the eyes of a Christian, sex should be reserved for intimate, marital relationships.
Daily Demonstration:
How has culture defined sex for you? Does it sound similar to the view of God, or has it taken on a new meaning in the modern world? Take time to reflect upon your view of sex – both good and bad. Begin to work out the bad aspects of sex. Consider pursuing wise counsel on this matter as it is essential for one’s understanding of marriage.
