GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 1 - SHARESample

April 11—Great Joy in Obedience!
Read
Luke 10:17-20
Reflect
There is great joy when we do what Jesus asks of us. When we obey Jesus, we don’t act on our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit to do the work of our Father in heaven. We go forth in the authority that God has given us—rejoicing that we belong to God!
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Romans 15:13. Spend a few minutes committing it to memory.
