CHRIST YOU CAME FOR ALL Sample

There are moments in Scripture that changed the lives of people who experienced them. For us, it’s easy to only see ourselves as a distant observer of Jesus’ history — but this is a story we are all a part of! This is not just history, it’s our history. And that means our lives are forever changed.

This is the beauty of Jesus’ death and resurrection for us today. There is no greater love than that of Jesus on the cross. Take a moment and allow that to leave you in awe — Jesus died for you! While Jesus was on the cross, we weren’t some distant person to Him. We were the very reason for His sacrifice. When was the last time you let that impact the way you live your life? 

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians, “For the love of Christ compels us.” When we allow the love of Christ to really leave us in awe, we want nothing more than to give our lives to the One who loved us enough to lay down His life as a sacrifice for ours.

Would this song inspire us to look to the cross! Would we be amazed and stand in awe for the eternal sacrifice that was made for us. Then would this awe compel us as believers to live in even greater ways for our King!

Prayer:

Thank You, Jesus, for the cross. I open my heart and stand in awe of what You did for me. Give me a sense of wonder that would compel me to walk closely with You today. Help me in the days when I lose sight of the sacrifice You made for me. Remind of when Your act of unconditional love changed my life forever, amen.
