STATIONS OF THE CROSS - EASTER PLANSample

JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS
How helpless and distraught must have those closest to Jesus felt as they witnessed nails being driven through His hands and feet into the cross. It's even more difficult to imagine that Jesus accepted the unbelievable cruelty of crucifixion, leading to the destruction of his body and dignity.
Rejected and mocked by the crowd, Jesus endured excruciating agony while having insults heaped on Him. He did not try to escape nor try to lessen his suffering. Jesus had done nothing but good and now had to abandon the people He loved so much.
Jesus suffered through it all because He loved even His enemies. Do you love your enemies? Have you caused pain in someone's life? Ask Jesus to help you see the hurt and pain you've caused others. Then ask Jesus for forgiveness.
