Praying Through Philippians with Hillsong CreativeSample

Philippians 3:20 says, “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Citizenship speaks of identity, family, language, values and the safety of home. What does it mean to you to call yourself a citizen of heaven?
How could you live today, in your work, your family, your relationships as a citizen of heaven and a representative of Jesus your Saviour?
Thank God that your hope and home is in Him. Ask Him to speak to you now about that reality.
Lord Jesus, what a privilege it is to call heaven our home and to represent You on this earth. May we bring honour and glory to You and You alone today. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen, amen.

About this Plan

Join the creative community of Hillsong Church as we spend seven days reading and praying through the book of Philippians. Philippians is a letter penned by the apostle Paul from prison in Rome, written to the church in Philippi who were also under great opposition. The message of Philippians is one of deep friendship, encouragement and exhortation to live like Christ no matter what life’s circumstances may be.
