Let Me Live in PeaceSample

In the story we have just read, we see the disciples full of fear, with a negative emotion in the midst of the storm. They had forgotten that they had the Prince of Peace in their boat. They were amazed when they saw Him addressing the wind and waves, which immediately obeyed Him. Suddenly there was a great calm. That which was trying to steal their peace had submitted to Jesus.
We do not feel peace, but we have peace, because we have Christ. Peace is not an emotion, it is a person, the same One who opens the Red Sea so that you can cross over on dry land, the One who appears in the fiery furnace when the flames try to burn you, the One who closed the mouths of the lions in the pit, the One who emptied the tomb and defeated death, defeated sin and won the victory for all eternity.
I do not feel peace, I have peace, because peace is called Christ Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Do not fear or be distressed, face the problems with an attitude that says “let me live in peace” and be encouraged because Jesus conquered the world. Decide to have peace in the midst of the storm, trust that it is Jesus who takes care of you and remember that peace is not an emotion, but a person: Jesus Christ.
