GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 3 - SHARESample

April 24—Simple Strategy, Part 2
Read
John 20:19-22
Reflect
The disciples rejoiced when Jesus revealed himself to them. After receiving his peace, he sent them into a lost and broken world, “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you” (verse 21 ESV). Through the power of the Holy Spirit they would be able to share with others what Christ had done. Ask him to fill you today with his Spirit.
Engage
Reread the Scripture passage. You’ve now read it two days in a row. Does anything stand out to you differently than it did yesterday? Consider the ENGAGE questions again. Don’t be afraid of the repetition. We learn more about God each time we read and reread his Word.
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verses, Matthew 28:19-20. Spend a few minutes working to memorize them.

About this Plan

GO2020 is focused on mobilizing people to share the good news of Jesus with those around us who don’t know him. In this unusual season of isolated living, how can we do that? Friendship…we can pursue our neighbors through “divine” appointments as we prayer walk our neighborhoods and as we share what we have with those who have less.
