Connecting With God (Luke)Sample

Start by praying something like this: “God, show me who you are and show me who you created me to be.”
Watch the BibleProject video to give you context from a Hebrew scholar named Tim Mackie who is an expert in what the original writers actually intended.
Pray the same prayer again as you read a chapter or two from the Scriptures.
Journal for 5-10 minutes what stood out from the video and what you read.
What did you discover about God?
How can you apply what you’ve read?
What resistance are you feeling and why?
What excites you about what you discovered and why?
About this Plan

Discovering the context of the story of Jesus helps the story come alive! Designed for the skeptic, the spiritually curious, and the person who wants a deeper understanding of the story, Connecting with God uses videos from BibleProject, reading 2-3 chapters of the Bible a day, and questions to help you understand the message for your life.
