Start With Your Guilt, End With His MercySample

Beloved,

We live for a gospel of mercy, not guilt.

But mercy was bought at a terrible price.

Jesus Christ lived the perfect life we couldn't and died the death we deserved to die.

There is Good News for the guilty heart: He lives again! He has risen!

As a follower of Jesus Christ, we have been saved from the judgment of God, not because He decided to toss His judgment in the dump, but because He poured it all out upon His one and only Son. The cross has restored us and reconciled us back to God and we can cry out to God.

Mercy has been extended to all mankind who answer the call, repent, and place their faith in the one and only begotten Son.

Today we encourage you to:

Pray that God would give you the desire to delight in Him.

Pray for a heart of genuine repentance. (Daily)

Pray for a holy conviction that hates sin - and loves Him.

Pray for a deep understanding of who you are in Christ.

Pray for a willingness to resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
