Mom, Oh Mom! Sample

Intro:
As mothers grow older, they sometimes begin to feel unloved and abandoned by their children. Other mothers grapple with medical issues, and the children have to scramble to support and care for her. Taking care of aging mothers can be a struggle, but Jesus has set an example for us to follow.
Questions for Reflection:
In what practical ways can you be like Jesus in caring for your mother, especially if she is “difficult” (makulit) and cranky (masungit), helpless, and maybe even hopeless? How can you make her feel loved, wanted, and needed?
