Love Like

True love defies description. At best, we utilize adjectives, paint pictures, and feature our best metaphors to elucidate those who may inquire about what makes us so happy; so content. When the thought of that loved one comes within the gates of our heart, we are often forced to pause, capture the moment, and with sometimes clumsy articulation, give feature to what has shifted our entire being. This takes on an exponential feature when we attempt to give attribute to the relationship we have with the Lord. He is joy in sorrow. Hope for tomorrow. The Rose of Sharon. The Lily of the Valley. He’s a Bridge. He’s the Fairest among Ten thousand. He is perfect in all of His Ways. And yet these simple phrases are not enough. He is just like… nothing we ever knew we needed. And daily, He becomes so much more.
