Insider - MarkSample

Reading: Mark, chapter 16
Devotional: The fear, the wonder and the joy, generated by the news of Jesus’ resurrection, moved the women who came to inspect the tomb to run as fast as possible to share the news with the disciples. However, none believed them. Afterwards, two of the disciples met the resurrected Jesus and the same thing happened - they shared the news with the rest of the disciples, but none believed. Finally, Jesus appeared to them all and rebuked them for their unbelief.
The same might happen to us today. Jesus calls us to go and tell the world the good news of His resurrection, yet not all will believe us. Those who believe will be saved and those who do not will be condemned. Do not let fear paralyze you, nor let people be condemned because of your silence.
To think about: Are you afraid to share the good news of the resurrection?
