Jesus was God’s Son, and still He knew He needed to be in His Father’s house, learning about God’s Word.
Just like eating healthy foods will give us a healthy body, God’s Word is healthy food for our hearts. We may not feel a hunger like our stomachs do for food, but our spirits need to be fed. Reading the Bible and thinking about what it says will help our hearts grow stronger and stronger!
Talk it over: What’s your favorite snack? Tell someone your favorite time to snack on God’s Word by reading the Bible. This can be in the morning, after school, at bedtime, anytime at all!
