Moving Beyond Anxiety

DAY 4 OF 4

Developing An Eternal Perspective:

We often miss having an eternal or Kingdom perspective. We see the here and now and don't remember that God is telling a story that started before we existed and will carry on long past our presence on this Earth. Hymn writer, Grant Colfax Tullar, wrote a poem called "The Weaver." It says that God is weaving a tapestry. We cannot see the beautiful side, just the threads in the back that don't seem to make sense until we turn it around and see the beauty God was weaving.

It is having an eternal perspective that can help us overcome today. Knowing that God is doing a work in us, encouraging us to follow Him with everything we have and feel. Knowing that one day He will wipe away all our tears and pain will be no more.

David Chadwick says in Moving Beyond Anxiety – “An eternal perspective means that we believe God is in control of everything—and we let that truth permeate our thoughts and actions.”

About this Plan

Moving Beyond Anxiety

Do you feel like a cloud of worry follows wherever you go? The key to overcoming your anxiety is found in the person of Jesus. He calls us to trust rather than despair - to "not be anxious" and to cast all our cares on Him. This plan is based on the new book Moving Beyond Anxiety by David Chadwick.
