A Life of Prayer

DAY 20

Pray:

God, I know that communicating with You is deeply important in growing  in my knowledge of You. I ask that You would help me grow in my desire and frequency of prayer. I desire to live a life of dependence upon You and know prayer is an essential part of that journey. In Jesus' name,  Amen. 

Read:

Read 1 Timothy 2:1-2. God uses many people, even those that do not know God, to bring about God’s will in the world. This is why praying for governmental leaders is important.

Application: 

Consider getting a journal and using it as a tool to help you become disciplined in prayer. In that journal you can write out your prayers and create different categories of people that are in need of prayer (i.e. family, friends, co-workers, and unbelievers). You can also keep a running list of things to pray for that are impacting your life.
