When Faith Is NowSample

We traverse the seasons of our lives with “then”, “now” or “when” paradigms that speak to that which is historic, current or futuristic in nature. God is in them all. He spans time. Jesus is known as the One who was, is, and is to come. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Sometimes it’s easy to recall the faith we had in previous chapters of our lives and recount God’s faithfulness, simply because the past seems so far removed from our current reality. Maybe you had faith back then and you’re filled with faith for what’s ahead, but NOW faith is increasingly difficult. There is plenty of loss around us, so many restrictions, a lack of control, and an ever-changing societal narrative. You need faith now! We don’t want to live only with “one day” faith, but also with faith for right now. Pastor Brian reminded us that sermons and messages aren’t just good words, theories or principles, but the Word is our life-source today. It is life to those who find it and health to our flesh.
